Back up what matters

Save your photos, files and other important information before you erase anything. Make sure you can access your backup.

Remove iCloud & Find My

Sign out of your Apple Account and turn off Find My so Activation Lock is removed. Unpair Apple Watch from your iPhone. Do this yourself: never share your Apple Account password with us.

For a work or school device, ask the organisation to remove management and release ownership first.

Erase your personal data

After backing up and signing out, follow Apple’s instructions for your model. Remove physical SIM cards and arrange to transfer or remove your eSIM.

Bring the essentials

Bring your device, the accessories included in your quote, your quote summary and valid photo ID. Call your store if you’re unsure which ID to bring.

Check the opening hours

Choose any of our four stores. Leave enough time for inspection; payment takes 1–2 hours on average and is not a fixed deadline.
